Gill Academic Consulting is an independent academic consulting practice operated by Dr. Gagan Gill, PhD, based in Ontario, Canada. We provide strategic admissions guidance, application support, personal statement development, school selection consulting, and mentorship services for applicants to medical, dental, graduate, and professional programs in Canada and the United States.
By accessing our website, submitting an intake form, booking a consultation, or engaging any paid service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full.
All services provided by Gill Academic Consulting are educational and advisory in nature. This includes but is not limited to:
Our services are strictly advisory. We do not write, ghost-write, or submit application materials on behalf of clients. All submitted application content must be the client's own authentic work. We provide guidance, feedback, structure, and strategic direction only.
No guarantee of admission. Gill Academic Consulting does not guarantee admission, interview invitations, scholarship awards, or any specific outcome from the use of our services. Admissions decisions are made solely by the institutions to which you apply.
By engaging our services, you agree to the following:
All materials created or provided by Gill Academic Consulting — including feedback documents, strategic frameworks, school list analyses, interview preparation materials, templates, and website tools such as the School Predictor and Admissions Risk Calculator — remain the intellectual property of Gill Academic Consulting.
Clients are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use these materials solely for their own individual application process. These materials may not be shared, copied, resold, published, or used for any commercial purpose without prior written consent from Dr. Gagan Gill.
Payment is required in full prior to the commencement of any paid service unless a separate written arrangement has been confirmed by Dr. Gill. Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of engagement. All fees are listed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.
Gill Academic Consulting reserves the right to update pricing at any time. Pricing confirmed at the time of your booking will be honoured for the duration of that engagement.
No refunds will be issued once work on your engagement has commenced. This includes after the first consultation session has been held, after any written feedback has been delivered, or after any strategic review has been conducted.
If you wish to cancel a booked consultation prior to commencement, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance at info@drgilladmissions.com. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may not be eligible for rescheduling.
Gill Academic Consulting reserves the right to decline services at any time if a client is found to be acting in bad faith, providing false information, or requesting assistance with dishonest or misrepresentative application materials. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.
Gill Academic Consulting treats all client information as strictly confidential. Personal details, academic records, application materials, and communications shared during the consulting process will not be disclosed to any third party without your explicit consent, except where required by law.
Anonymized information may be used internally to improve service quality. Client testimonials and outcomes may be referenced publicly only with the client's explicit permission.
Gill Academic Consulting is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity. We do not assist with fabricating experiences or research, misrepresenting publications, or submitting work that is not authentically the applicant's own.
Gill Academic Consulting reserves the right to immediately terminate any engagement where we have reason to believe the client is engaging in dishonest or fraudulent application practices. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Gill Academic Consulting and Dr. Gagan Gill shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services or website, including rejection from academic programs, missed deadlines, reliance on information provided during consultations, or technical issues with website tools.
Our total liability in connection with any engagement shall not exceed the fees paid by the client for that specific engagement.
The School Predictor and Admissions Risk Calculator on this website are preliminary screening tools provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional admissions advice and should not be used as the sole basis for any application decision. Results do not account for essays, interviews, CASPer, letters of recommendation, residency rules, or the full strength of your profile.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
Gill Academic Consulting reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our website or services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
